Information in the app
Jobs, client and property details, photos, annotations, notes, checklists, company branding and generated reports are stored locally in the app’s storage on your device. NeatProof does not operate a server that receives this content and does not require an app account.
Camera and selected photos
The app requests camera permission when you choose to take a photo. The system photo picker gives the app access to photos you select. Selected images may be downloaded by iOS from your photo service if they are not already on the device. We do not upload your photo library.
Trial and purchases
Apple processes the free trial and in-app purchases. NeatProof checks Apple-signed transactions to determine trial dates and purchase access. We do not receive your payment card details. Apple handles transaction information under its own privacy policy.
Sharing and backups
When you choose to share a report or export a backup, the file is passed to the app or destination you select. That destination may upload it or share it with others according to its own settings and policies. Backups may contain client details, photos and notes. Your device’s system backup settings may also include app data.
No advertising or tracking SDKs
The app does not include advertising, cross-app tracking or third-party analytics SDKs. Operating-system diagnostics and App Store services are controlled by Apple and your device settings.
Deleting information
You can delete jobs and saved reports in the app and use its storage cleanup option for unreferenced photo files. Report history is managed separately from jobs. Deleting the app removes its local container. Copies you exported, shared or backed up elsewhere must be deleted at those destinations separately.
Support and this website
If you email support, we receive your email address and any information you choose to send, and use it to respond to your request. Please avoid sending sensitive client information. This website is hosted by Netlify, which may process standard connection information such as IP addresses and request logs to deliver and protect the site. This site has no advertising or analytics scripts.
